Lacy Linen Stole
(From the book description) This shawl is cleverly designed with a two-sided cable pattern - no matter which side of the shawl is facing out, the fabric looks finished and lovely. The original is knit in a 100% linen yarn, which drapes beautifully and is surprisingly easy to care for - it can simply be machine washed and dried, which also makes it softer over time. Trudy Van Stralen offers a lovely thought to meditat on as you work on this pattern: “The cables in this shawl remind me of gentle, stretchable ropes, holding the world softly together, so we can all live within those boundaries in peace.”
