34" & 36" bust

No yardage given. Requires 5oz of Copley’s Excelsior 2-ply Shetland, 6oz for long sleeves; using one size larger needles will result in 36” bust. V-shaped pattern worked on both sides of garment as written, but could be adapted easily so that the back is plain (and thus worked in-the-round instead of flat).

Description from pattern: -

“Something different, yet nothing new, this dainty little jumper meets every woman’s need. Under a suit or in the house it is just right, as the snug-fitting neck is so helpful. Try it with long or short sleeves, in Dahlia 1083 with a black or blue skirt, or Mermaid 1017 with a light-toned one”.

Almost certainly a war-time pattern, due to the ‘made-do’ nature of the description above.
