This vintage pattern is a beautiful “shoulder shawl” often found in vintage and antique pattern books. It is knitted in one piece from wrist to wrist, is increased across the back for length and has a delicate striped pattern made by alternating a white fingering yarn with the silk-shetland yarn. The pattern is easily modified for size by adding rows and stitches. This is a particularly pretty example of this type of vintage garment.
