Transform your basket full of yarn scraps into something beautiful for yourself or a friend! The Laid Back Scrap Wrap is a simple way to showcase the beautiful colorways of Lion Brand Mandala yarn. Sometimes the simplest projects are the best!

Requires 1 and ¼ cakes worth of Mandala scraps. You can use scraps as short as 18 inches or 46 cm long for the fringe.

This simple, light, rectangular wrap can be worn as a shawl or knotted like a scarf.

Perfect as a first crochet wrap for a beginner, for a fast project for a gift, or as a project you can work on while you watch TV without having to think too much. A fast crocheter could complete this wrap from start to finish in less than 3 hours. A more leisurely or beginner stitcher will require 6-7 hours.

This is a beginner pattern and requires only chain and single crochet stitches. Pattern is written in US terms and includes explanations of all stitches and abbreviations. US and metric measurements given.

Finished dimensions are about 68 by 20 inches (172 by 51 cm) without fringe when using Lion Brand Mandala dk weight yarn and an 11.5 mm hook. The wrap is 84 by 20 inches (213 by 51 cm) including fringe.
