{lah-teesh} Irish: lattice

When I think of winter in Ireland, I think of the slanted northern light casting its long, enchanted shadows. It was this that inspired the elongated cable motif of the Laitís design.

Worked seamlessly from the top down, Laitís is a front-back reversible pullover 
with a relaxed silhouette. The entire garment is worked seamlessly in one piece, with the neck, shoulders, and sleeves integrated into the pattern with no interruptions to the motif.

Despite this apparent intricacy, the all-over latticework 
 is an uncomplicated repeat, suitable for cable knitters of all skill levels.

Simultaneously fluid and sculptural, Laitís
 will make you feel as if you are wearing a piece of art - which just happens 
to be warm and cozy.

One of my earliest published patterns, the newly revised Laitís
 retains the original aesthetic while featuring improvements including: expanded sizing, enhanced sleeve cap fit, ‘invisible’ sleeve decreases, and fully charted yoke shaping - complete with detailed increase charts and stitch by stitch written instructions for all shoulder and sleeve increases.
