Skill-level: Intermediate, with no rest rounds, lace work, and a shift in the round.
Materials: 350-400 yards (320-365m) of sock yarn. The socks pictured are a size Medium and used approximately 370 yards of Iachos from An Hundred Ravens.
Needles: US1 (2.25mm) sock needles (pattern is written for both DPN and magic loop knitters) --or possibly larger needles for a more elastic fit
Tools: tape measure, tapestry needle, scissors
Gauge: 32 stitches & 36 rounds per 4 inches or 10 cm, measured in stockinette stitch.
Sizing: Small (Medium, Large, Extra-large) sizes measure approximately 8(9,10,11) inches around, leg height, ankle depth, and foot length are all adjustable to fit and preference.

Sizing Note: I don’t usually design for children, but this pattern is so inelastic that realistically, the small size might fit an older child. Plan to go up a size and/or increase your needle size to ensure a good fit.

Errata:
Two special decreases that got left out of the pattern descriptions happen for the first time in line 7 (they include a decrease and a cluster stitch):

Left-leaning cluster (the one with the ssk): before working the decrease, slip one knitwise, flip the third stitch over the other two, as done in regular clusters, slip the next knitwise, and complete the SSK with the two slipped stitches. Yarn over, and knit the last through the back loop.

Right- leaning cluster (with the k2tog): begin the cluster as you would for a regular cluster stitch by flipping the third stitch over the first two. KTBL, YO, then knit two together using the last of the cluster stitches and the next stitch on the needles.
