This beautifully textured and colorful blanket is the perfect one if you love vibrant, warm colors!
I used four different shades of Carnival to make the squares but you can use any other colors to fit your style, the possibilities are endless!
With all of the colors on the palette, I’m sure you’ll have fun making it and I can assure you that you won’t get bored easily!

Finished Size:

The full blanket: 47” x 65” / 120 x 165 cm AFTER BLOCKING

Each Block: 5.5” x 5.5” / 14 x 14 cm AFTER BLOCKING

Materials needed:

• 4.5 mm (G+) size hook (I used Black Odyssey by Furls)
• NOTE: If you crochet tightly I advise you to use a 5 mm (H) size hook
FOR THE SQUARES: Carnival in the following shades and quantities:
Rio-01: 4 skeins
Trinidad-03: 4 skeins
New Orleans-04: 2 skeins
Nice-14: 4 skeins
Total: 14 skeins = 1400 grams
3668 yards / 3360metres

FOR THE BORDER:
Carnival in the following shade and quantity:
Luanda-10: 4 skeins
Total: 4 skeins = 400 grams
Total: 1048 yards / 960 metres
If you want to use different yarn than recommended, you will need approximately 1800 grams (4720 yards/4320 metres) of DK yarn
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors
• Stitch markers (optional)
• NOTE: Blocking is essential to enhance the textured patternwork of your blanket
