L'Anse au Loup
L’Anse-au-Loup is a top-down dolman. Short-rows create the shoulder shaping and the dolman sleeve shaping, and all stranded colourwork is worked in the round and steeked. It is cropped with the split hem meant to rest at the high upper hip.
L’Anse-au-Loup is a community in Labrador and translates into English as “Wolf Cove”. Designed for Jule a.k.a Hey Mama Wolf using her Mokosh base, it is a sweater to hug yourself in and go tinkering around outside in the plants and flowers. The colours in the sample are Hawthorne (light pink) and Red Onion (yellow-green), hand-dyed and plant-dyed by her.
Place 4 or more of my self-published designs in your cart and you automatically receive 25% off the total price at checkout (the patterns must be purchased in a single transaction and cannot be combined with another sale in my Ravelry store).
Lace and colourwork are charted only.

Size B: 3.5mm 60cm (24”), 80cm (32”) for upper and lower body St st; DPNs or long circulars for magic loop for CC band at cuff.
Size C: 4mm 100cm (40”) for stranded colourwork in the round across the wingspan, and to use for travelling loop (or 40cm (16”) if desired) for the stranded colourwork shoulder and side bands.
