This capelet gives the best of a shawl (coverage on your arms) without the actual hassle of a shawl (all the falling off and having to hold on to it).

With simple knit and purl stitches (and a little decreasing), you can create this fun capelet and add your own clasps for an individual look. How great would toggle buttons be?

Recommended Yarn

Approx. 475 yards of DK weight yarn

Recommended Needle

US 8 5mm 20” circulars

Finished Measurements

approx. 22” circumference
(top), 48” circumference (bottom), and
17” from top to bottom
