The shawl was inspired by all the trees around, because i’m living in the middle of the forest. As the larch is the only conifer, which gets a colorful dress in autumn, i named the shawl „Larix“ (bot. Larch), although the larch is not native to the area here.

Material:
You may use any yarn and work with any needle size you like.
I added a formula to calculate how much yarn you will probably need and how
to calculate the established size. If you dont like to calculate, you may use a similar
yarn as i used and the same needle size. Here is what i used:

The Unique Sheep Verve, approx. 900 yards (823 meters) 9 balls a 25 grams ( shown colorway: Gradience November)

Circular needles: US 4 (3.5 mm), 24 inches (80cm), 10 markers

Measurements before blocking: 55 x 110cm (21,5 x 43”)
Measurements after blocking: 63 x 126cm (25 x 50”)

This shawl is worked from top to tip.

Das Tuch wurde von all den Bäumen ringsherum inspiriert, da ich mitten im Wald wohne. Da die Lärche der einzige Nadelbaum ist, der sich im Herbst bunt färbt, habe ich das Tuch “Larix” getrauft, (bot. = Lärche) obwohl die Lärche hier bei uns in Nordschweden nicht heimisch ist.

Material:
Dieses Tuch kann mit jeder Wolle und jeder beliebigen Nadelstärke gearbeitet werden.
Am Ende dieser Anleitung habe ich eine Formel angehängt, mit der man ausrechnen kann
wie viel Wolle man ungefähr dafür braucht und wie man auf eine gewünschte Größe kommt.
Wer nicht rechnen mag, kann natürlich auch eine ähnliche Wolle und gleiche Nadelstärke
wie ich nutzen. Hier ist das Material, das ich benutzt habe:
