The Lark Sweater is a bottom-up, modified drop crochet jumper with a round, crew neck and fun colour-work pattern across the chest which is mirrored on the sleeves.

Skills:
This is an intermediate level pattern and requires the ability to accurately read written patterns. A video tutorial is included both for the colour work and the construction of the sweater for those who find visuals useful.
It is important to match gauge for this pattern and to block your work to achieve the best finish.

Materials:You will require approximately 1180(1220, 1450, 1630, 1750, 1960, 2080, 2410, 2530)m of double knit merino wool yarn and a 4mm crochet hook (or size needed to match gauge.
The sweater you see pictured used the following yarns:
880(895, 1100, 1225, 1295, 1440, 1525, 1685, 1755)m Main Colour (MC): King Cole Merino Blend DK undyed, 100% wool, 250g hank=520m

For the Contrast Colours you will need approximately 300(325, 350, 405, 455, 520, 555, 725, 775)m in total. I used Yarnsmiths Merino DK superwash, 100% wool, 50g=110m.
You will also need a stitch marker and a Blocking board and pins. Learn more about blocking here.

Finished sizes:
The sweater is offered in 9 adult women’s sizes, with a finished chest measurement of 88(93, 107, 117, 126, 135, 145, 159, 168)cm. Additional measurements, schematics and suggestions for customising fit are included in the pattern.
