Meet Larry the Lion, a member of the Deramores Safari Animals family. This pattern has been designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz using acrylic DK yarns, and is knitted flat on single pointed needles.

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK in Citrine, Frost and Ruby; one 100g skein in each colour
Double knitting/light worsted weight
100% acrylic

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm (US 4) straight single pointed knitting needles

NOTIONS
Toy filling
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
For the eyes white felt fabric and 6mm black buttons, sewing needle and thread

One Size: Larry is 25cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
Work flat on single pointed needles (not in the round).
Other techniques include casting on and off, knits and purls, increases and decreases, knitting loops, knitting stripes and seaming to finish.
