This was designed for the Dia de los Muertos theme for the Anticraft Samhain issue 2008.

It is knitted cuff down, with a short row heel with lettering detail. The skeletons/stranded part of the knitting uses a technique of just leaving the floats at the back of the work, and the design allows you to knit them in occasionally around the motif, so no twisting or catching of yarns needed.

Turquoise version is in alpaca but it could also be knitted against a self striping background like the
Regia Clown/variegated version
