This shawl can be made with armholes to make it into a vest or without armholes to be a wrap.
The pattern is written to be made in the same size that I made for the original but there are also instructions to make this piece to be the size that you want.

Use up scraps from the stripes and pull them together with a main color or use just two colors for the entire piece. I think it would look great in a solid color and this pattern will give some texture to the color.
