L'Ascenseur
L’Ascenseur is inspired by the Art Deco elevator doors of the Chrysler building in New York City, which feature a classic lotus fan design. The stitch pattern features a combination of slipped stitches and simple cabling so colors are worked one at a time.

Madelinetosh Twist Light (420 yd / 384 m per skein; 75% Merino, 25% Nylon), 1 skein in Blood Runs Cold (MC), 1 skein in Tart (CC)
Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needle, 40” / 100 cm long

GAUGE
24 sts and 34 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch
23 sts and 44 rows = 4” / 10 cm in garter stitch
20 sts and 40 rows = 4” / 10 cm in pattern, blocked and stretched
Gauge is not critical but will affect yarn usage.
