GREAT LACE is a beautiful summer design knit in pieces and seamed together.
First you knit the Lace Border in Stacy Charles Ariana all the way around, keeping the stitches alive on the needle. Then you pick up stiches from the Lace Border knitting the basket weave stitch (separately for back and front), change to Fern Lace Stitch and shape shoulders and neck. You then knit 2 sleeves in Fern Lace.

Pieces are sewn together at the shoulder and sleeves are sewn into the armhole openings.
