A stranded gansey jacket is the ultimate in classic comfort. This piece can be worn as a light jacket during transitional seasons; however, because it’s not too thick or bulky, it can also be worn under a heavy coat in the cold, wintery months. Men often avoid bold patterns, textures, or colors, so I’ve chosen to consolidate the pattern at the bottom and leave the upper part of the sweater very simple and clean. This piece is worked bottom up in the round with steeks.
