The welts and edges of this garment are worked in ‘Purl when you can’ stranded knitting i.e. the strqanded knitting pattern is also worked with knit and purl stitches so it stays flat at the edges.

The body of the garment is worked as a chevron lace but I used ‘make 1’ increases instead of yarn over increases to give a textured bias knit surface rather than a lace finish.
