Mosaic stitch patterns are both colorful and textured. Normally they are a little too “busy” for me, so I have not tried many designs with mosaic stitch patterns. When I stumbled upon a simple mosaic tile pattern in a photo, I thought it was very pretty, so I used a mosaic stitch pattern in this small project.

NEEDLES
Size U.S. 5 (3.75 mm): set of 4 double-pointed (dpn).
Size U.S. 4 (3.5 mm): dpn.
Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Tapestry needle; stitch holder or waste yarn.
