Four motifs borrowed from Latvian mitten patters combined into a sock and knitted in a variegated yarn set against a solid colour background.

The yarn used in the sample is a hand-dyed variegated fingering weight sock yarn from Fleece Artist. A commercial variegated yarn would work too.

I would love to see a pair knitted in a brighter colour too!
