Classic Fair Isle motifs get an update in this modern, slightly slouchy beanie. Named for a character in the PBS show, Home Fires, this hat was inspired by the motifs and colors of vintage Fair Isle sweaters and vests from the 1940s.
Skill Level: Intermediate. Skills include stranded colorwork, increasing and decreasing in the round.

Needles: US #2 2.75mm 16 in 40cm and 24 in 60cm circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. US #2 2.75mm dpns for hat crown.
