Laurel Wreath Hat
Description:
This hat design uses post-stitches to make a Laurel Wreath around the head, which is then joined to make a hat.
In general, a Laurel Wreath originated in ancient Greece and was a symbol of accomplishment and distinction. It is worn by graduates, awardees, and victors alike.
This Laurel Wreath Hat is crocheted using stranded colorwork in worsted or aran weight yarn (check gauge).
The level of expertise required is about intermediate, you should have experience with increases and decreases, sc, dc, and post-stitches. Make sure to check the stitch descriptions for extended stitch information (particularly for the esc stitch).
The pattern includes a written pattern for the hat and a stitch diagram.
