This hat was inspired and named by my oldest son. He told me that it looks like cooled lava rock has cracked open and that you can see the fresh hot lava flowing underneath.

This hat is made with slip stitch colour work so you only ever work with one colour at a time.

You can make 3 sizes with this one pattern, Toddler, Child/Small Adult or medium adult.
