The shawl is an asymmetric triangle worked sideways in one piece. Knitting starts with just a few stitches, continues with a rhythmical foliage pattern formed by dip stitches, proceeds to the garden of berries and lavenders, and is finished with a calm sky of garter. If desired, some beads can be added when binding off.

This pattern is available individually and in the Coming Into Bloom e-book. The e-book will contain 8 patterns in total. By purchasing this collection you will pay for the patterns twice less.

If you purchase the e-book now, all the patterns will be delivered automatically to you once they are published. While M size is given in the pattern, the size of the shawl can be easily customized according to the included instructions. Fingering weight yarn is used for the sample shawl, but you could also use a heavier weight yarn for a dramatic effect.

The pattern is both charted and fully written out. It was tech edited and test knit. A video tutorial explains how to work dip stitches.
