One thing that has really struck me about Kathy is her multi-layered life. She manages to find time to give to her yarn business, her family, and her day job. Each part is distinct but also interacts with the other parts of her life to create a beautiful whole. The mitts that I designed for her have an innovative two part, layered construction that creates a comfortable and unusual mitt.
