This feather light crochet design is inspired by Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, Portland’s first wildlife refuge and migratory bird park. Among the more than 185 bird species recorded at this urban marshland, the Lazuli Bunting with bright blue head and back surely stands out as one of the more colorful. Our shawlette pays homage to this wonderful songbird and the refuge that helps it thrive!
