A beautiful and warm wool sweater with a traditional, Icelandic wool sweater pattern (lopapeysa). The pattern is a reproduction of a sweater that used to be sold in Icewear stores, but now you can knit the sweater with the very soft Saga double from Iceweargarn. The pattern is quite simple and is therefore suitable for most knitters.

The sweater is knitted bottom up in stockinette stitch with a stranded pattern at the yoke..

Falleg og hlý ullarpeysa með hefðbundnu íslensku lopapeysumunstri. Uppskriftin er endurgerð af lopapeysu sem var áður til sölu hjá Icewear, en nú er hægt að prjóna hana úr mjúku Saga double ullinni frá Iceweargarn. Uppskriftin er frekar einföld og hentar því flestum prjónurum.
Peysan er prjónuð í hring neðan frá og upp, með sléttprjóni og tvíbandaprjóni.
