Combining the appeal of the classic cable sweater with modern flair, the Leaf Pile Sweater features plenty of textured, cabled fun on the front and sleeves and an easy to wear (and knit!) stockinette back. Sized from baby to preteen, this sweater is the perfect layer to keep kids toasty warm during autumn play.
The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. Short rows to raise the back neck are worked right into the collar ribbing to provide a comfortable fit in all sizes.
Note: this is an intermediate-level pattern. It includes short rows and following several cable charts at once while incorporating new stitches into cable patterns.
Check out the companion pattern, the Leaf Pile Dress! Get 50% off the second pattern when you purchase both together (or if you’ve already purchased one), no coupon code required.
