Notes: This model is not an original creation. It’s a pattern inspired by a commercial hat which my mother bought during a trip for my daughter few years ago.

We liked it so much that we decided to replicate this model to knit it in other colors. I was surprised later to discover a nearly identical Russian model on Pinterest, tho I think this one was worked in the round. This version is worked flat in back and forth rows. So here is the pattern that we have transcribed and want to share with you. Enjoy !!
