When my oldest was a baby, she was gifted a pair of chunky fabric bootees that were adorable on her chubby feet. With this image in mind I began searching for a good pattern, I found loads of great patterns. They all came short in regards to my worsted cotton, and size 6 dpn’s though.

So came Leelee’s bootees. There is no rocket science in these, I just wanted them to stay on, be cute, and work with her outfits. They are knit in the round, top down, use worsted weight, tie with i-cord, and hopefully stay on your little one’s feet as they do my own little Leelee’s feet. Added bonus she loves to play with them.
