This Icelandic hat comes in two sizes: adult and child. It has a hemmed edge, and includes increases in place of changing needle sizes for the hems and colourwork —a solution for vacation knitting when you only have one needle size with you! One ball of each colour will give you enough yarn to knit both sizes if you choose a different main colour for each hat.

The children’s size hat is shown on a child with a 21 inch head, and the adult hat is sized to fit an average woman with a little slouch.

Materials:
4 balls Létt Lopi, one each of col A (867), col B (85), col C (1410), and col D (9414). 50 gr balls, approx. 100 m (109 yd).

One 5mm, 16 inch, 40cm circular needle, or size needed to achieve gauge.
