When I designed this shrug I was in a phase of making circles in lace patterns. So the challenge I gave myself was to make something other than capelets and neck warmers. This is the result!

The shrug is made up of two halves, starting at the sleeves and working towards the body. The halves are joined at the middle of the back and the gaps at the upper and lower parts are filled with knitted inserts.

The patten is given for sizes XS, S, M, L and XL.

Yarns required:
Noro Silk Garden Sock
S8: sizes 8-18 3 balls, sizes 20-26 4 balls

Needles required:
1 set 4mm (UK 8/US 6) double-point needles (DPNs)
2 sets 4mm (UK 8/US 6) circular needles, 60cm and 120cm long
