The Lemon Buttercup Shawl is a triangular shawl worked top down from the center. It workes best when using two contrasting colors.

main color: 8105: light steel blue (3 balls - approx. 520 yds (475 m))
contrasting color: 2923: goldenrod (2 balls - approx. 350 yds (320 m))

There are multiple ways to increase the size of this shawl that can be combined just as you like. You could add rows to the unicolored inner part, you could add rows to the stripes in the contrasting color, you could add rows to the border. Instructions on how to do so are included in the pattern.
Because of these options for increasing the shawl there are a variety of yardages you could use for main color and contrasting color. Please take the yardages above as a guideline of how much yarn you will need at the minimum.

Das Lemon Buttercup ist ein Dreieckstuch, das von der oberen Mitte aus gehäkelt wird. Es wirkt am besten, wenn zwei kontrastreiche Farben verwendet werden.

Das Tuch kann falls gewünscht vergrößert werden. Dafür gibt es verschiedene Optionen, die beliebig miteinander kombiniert werden können. So kann der einfarbige Innenteil vergrößert werden, die Streifen in Kontrastfarbe verbreitert werden oder auch der Rand um zusätzliche Reihen ergänzt werden. Erklärungen dazu sind selbstverständlich in der Anleitung enthalten.
Durch diese Vergrößerungsoptionen sind eine Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen Lauflängen für die Haupt- und die Kontrastfarbe möglich. Die obigen Angaben sind daher eher als Untergrenze zu sehen.
