This is a versatile overlay mosaic crochet pattern to produce a plaid effect. It uses basic stitches and is great for the beginner in this technique.

Included are instructions on how to make the cushion cover and how to extend the pattern for other projects. The pattern includes stitch placement, charts (with Xs), stitch sequences, hints and tips.

To make the cushion panel in weight #4 yarn, you will need approximately two 100g-skeins of each of the two contrasting colours.
