This pattern was available at Knitting From The Heart, during the 2016 Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop, April 7-10. After the Hop, the pattern will be available free for a short time as a downloadable pattern.

Thank you for your participation in the 2016 Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop. This year’s theme is “Inspired by Literature.” Our shop’s inspiration came from Leota’s Garden by Francine Rivers.
Thank you for your donation to the area’s food shelves. We have chosen Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf of Woodbury.

The cowl was knit using one half of the skein. Beads are optional. It is approximately 7” deep x 25” in circumference. Gauge: 5 sts./in. after blocking.

Materials
One half skein (approximately 50 grams) of Dream in Color, Jilly, 100% Merino single ply,
in color ways dyed for Knitting from the Heart for the 2016 Minnesota Shop Hop.

Note: I have knit this project with Malabrigo Mechita, which is a stunning choice! One skein of Mechita will make two cowls, as well.

Size 5 circular needles in a 16 inch length.
250 TOHO 6/0 round seed beads. Beading surface and floss threader. Stitch marker. Yarn needle.

Thank you to Darielle Dankhe for modeling!
