Leslie Cowl
This versatile and ingenious cowl combines the look of a scarf and cowl together. It can be worn with the split over the shoulder, in the back or front, creating a variety of different looks. It is lots of fun to wear and a great wardrobe addition.
The scarf part is worked flat and the cowl part is worked in the round.
The pattern is written for 2 different weights of yarn - worsted and fingering. The single color sample is made with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted and the 2 color sample is made with Koigu KPM and KPPPM.
The worsted weight cowl takes 2 skeins of Lorna’s Laces Shepherds Worsted. The fingering weight cowl takes 2 skeins of Koigu KPM and one skein of Koigu KPPPM.
Gauge for the fingering weight version is 13 stitches and 18 rows equals 2 inches in stockinette using a size 3 needle.
