Let’s Play In The Rock Pools
This asymmetrical triangular shawl is a lovely easy crochet project, and can be made into any colour combinations that take your fancy!
The easy 4-rows pattern makes for a relaxing project, whilst creating a lovely wavy effect to showcase all the beautiful colours of hand dyed yarns…
The contrast of the wavy green bands and the pinkish grey waves make for a striking and eye catching beautiful shawl, perfect for summer, and bright and cheery during the winter!
Materials:
8mm crochet hook
2 x 100g in contrasting colours of Right Side Yarns DK Wool (100% Polwarth Superwash, approx. 230m / 251yds), shades “Corrag” (Colour A, pinkish grey) and “ Follow The Yellow Brick Road” (Colour B, Green)
Finished Size:
170cm x 75cm after blocking
Crochet Tension / gauge:
Tension is not critical at all for this project, but it is not recommended to crochet the shawl too tight, it will affect the shape of the waves and its overall drape. Tension on the dc section, the Point of the Shawl, is 14st x 12 rows in dc before blocking.
