Levitt is an exercise in simplicity. Marled, handspun cashmere is a delightful portmanteau of woodsy charm and luxurious softness, and it doesn’t require much in the way of stitch patterning. With yarns this special, I find it best to exercise restraint. Swatching usually confirms this hunch. A simple band of seed stitch breaks up the slouchy beanie, knit in a striking, classic palette that works in the woods or downtown.
