Mittens are some of my favourite thing to knit, so when the sweet Lainamourée sent me her beautiful yarn, I knew that it had to become something cosy for my hands. The pattern is relatively easy: I got inspired to use the slipped arrow stitches that was both featured in the Lucky charm shawl and the Little twigs jumper. I can’t seem to get enough of that stitch! Then the body of the mitten is worked in a very simple textured stockinette.

The little version was so sweet to knit! I added an i-cord to join the two mitts together, so they won’t get lost that easily this way (or so I hope!). One skein will be plenty enough to knit a pair for yourself and the mini version as well.

Yarn
1 skein of Lainamouree Atlas (shown here in the Caramel au Beurre Salé colorway) 50% baby camel/ 50% silk 100g= 437 yards (400m) or about 437 yards (400m) of fingering weight yarn (if you don’t have a full skein of fingering weight, 70g should be plenty enough to knit the larger version)
