Liberty Hat
I created this hat for the Halos of Hope-A-Thon taking place at Wall of Yarn in Freeport, IL. From now until August 12, 2017, when you purchase the pattern, $2.50 will go to Halos of Hope to help them ship hats across the country! Thank you for helping a cause that truly means a lot to me.
Want this hat pattern for FREE? Send me a chemo cap to donate to my local cancer center for Halos of Hope. Please go to this thread to see more information. Include your Ravelry name or email address in your shipment, as well as which paid hat pattern you would like, and I will gift you the pattern once I receive your shipment.
Slouch style hat has a hat band of 20” in circumference. Changing the weight of yarn used (worsted to DK) and size of hook used (4.5mm to 3.75 or 3.5mm) will give you a smaller sized hat. If you need larger than 20” diameter, go up one or two hook sizes with the worsted weight yarn.
Materials Needed:
-
worsted weight yarn in 3 colors (noted as A, B, & C in pattern). For a hat similar to the one as pictured, use a silver-grey, a heather blue, and red.
-
2 stitch markers
-
tapestry needle
