Ligeia derives its name from the nymph Ligeia, one of the Nereids, daughters of the sea god Nereus.

Ligeia shawl is a triangular shawl. It is worked from one end to the other, beginning at one end and increasing on one side.

On the right side, a lace pattern (charted only) unfolds gradually and continues throughout the height. The rest is worked in garter stitch.

You will get a big triangle 142 cm / 56 inches long and 98 cm / 38.5 inches wide.

You will need two skeins or about 720 meters / 790 yards of fingering yarn.

Ligeia tire son nom de la nymphe Ligée (ou Ligeia), une des Néréïdes, les filles du dieu marin Nérée.

Ligeia est un châle triangulaire. Il se tricote en partant de la pointe et en faisant des augmentations d’un seul côté.

Sur le bord qui est tricoté droit, un motif de dentelle (expliqué par diagrammes) se déploie peu à peu et se poursuit sur toute la hauteur. Le reste est tricoté au point mousse.

Il forme un grand triangle de 142 x 98 cm.

Il vous faudra deux écheveaux ou environ 720 mètres de fil fingering pour le tricoter.
