Light Roast Cardigan
From micro-roasting connoisseurs of single estate beans to paper-writing students in need of late-night refueling, Western Massachusetts is steeped in coffee culture. As many aficionados will be quick to inform you, a light to medium roast not only highlights the full varietal flavors of the bean, but also offers the biggest caffeine payload. Knit in the color of a light-roasted coffee bean at a soft and somewhat loose gauge for Valley Yarns Charlemont, the wavy, lacy details of the cropped Light Roast Cardigan can really shine. Set-in cap sleeves are picked up from the armhole and worked down to avoid tricky seaming.
