Lighter Than Air Infinity Scarf
This pattern is also available to European knitters at loveknitting.com.
Lighter Than Air scarf uses about 200 yds (1 skein plus 1/3 of the second skein) of Reverie Worsted in a rib pattern, with faggoting lace between the ribs. This results in a very light, squishy scarf that feels weightless against your neck, but provides wonderful warmth on chilly days. The infinity scarf can be looped once for a drapey cowl, twice for a real neck-warmer; or you can choose to knit a little longer and leave the ends loose for a sling-over-your-shoulders flat scarf. No blocking necessary for this beautiful yarn. Lighter Than Air is a great choice for a first lace project for the adventurous beginner. The piece can be seamed to make an infinity scarf/cowl, or left flat for a long scarf.
This was also made up in Malabrigo Sock, and turned out great.
