Lighthouse Shawl
Picture this: you’re strolling on a quiet beach with clouds blanketing the sky and a slight breeze chilling your shoulders. You wrap your shawl a little tighter and look up to admire the view of the lighthouse, a watchtower that sits on the point and beckons to seafarers.
The Lighthouse Shawl is a fun and versatile accessory that uses meditative Tunisian simple stitch, basic shaping, and plays with the warm and cool tones of Color Theory to create the perfect shawl for those long breezy beach walks. Starting with just a few stitches on one side, increases are made along one edge, then it is worked straight before decreasing back down to the original number of stitches.
