Lighthouse stocking
A beautiful lighthouse with seagulls flying about makes a wonderful stocking for your water lover. It’s sure to be a wonderful keepsake for the lucky receiver.
This pattern is advanced intermediate. There is a lot of weaving in of ends, carrying several colors at a time.
Pattern includes: Written stocking instructions, alphabet chart, hints and a color chart of the design.
Need basic knowledge of intarsia knitting.
Gauge is 18 sts and 24 rows =4”
No gauge required
finished size approximately 7” x 23”
Knitted Flat and sewn up back seam
You may use any acrylic or wool. I prefer acrylic because of the stiffness and way it hangs. It just needs a scrap amount of yarn for many of the details.
I’m glad to chart out your name.
