The winter air is cool on your cheeks as you walk gingerly across the meadow before you. The first snow of the season blankets the landscape and though the winter wind is cold the rays of the sun warm your back. The light of sun bounces in waves around you, from the sky to the snow and back again.

When looking for a name for this hat I showed it to my 10 year-old and asked her what it made her think of. My sweet science loving girl said, “it makes me think of how the light from the sun travels in waves”.
