Spring/Summer - Lightweight Sock

This beautiful sock comes in 2 sizes Med (5-8 UK/EU 38-42/US 6-9 and Large (9-11 UK/EU43-45.5/US 10-12)sizes.

I love the name ‘BaM-booZLe’ and the versatile attributes this yarn brings. A great product to work with in the Spring/Summer and its delicate nature is lovely to handle. a lightweight (Limited Edition) 4-ply yarn. (20% Bamboo blended with 40% of Romney and 40% of Bluefaced Leicester)

A sock design was the obvious choice, as the yarn, with the bamboo content, is antibacterial, hypoallergenic, thermo-regulating and also absorbs moisture. All really important for
keeping your feet in tip top condition in the heat. Not only does this fine work, have all these positive features this season but they can also double up as an extra layer of warmth for your feet, in the depths of Winter…. I will certainly be trying this!!

As I have said in the pattern, always do your Tension Square and adjust as stated, if need be.
Yarn:For the best results, I have recommended the lightweight, delicate Blacker Yarns ‘BaM-booZLe’ (Limited Edition) 4-ply yarn. (20% Bamboo blended with 40% of Romney and 40% of Bluefaced Leicester)
Needle: 1 circular 2.25mm (UK 13 - USA 1), 80cm in length
Breeds: Romney & Bluefaced Leicester Wool
Ball/Skein Length: c.50g c.200m (c.218yds)
Finish(Woollen or Worsted):Worsted

Blacker Yarns specialise in breed specific British Wool yarn all spun and processed in Cornwall and consist of 100% natural fibres.

The pattern could be knitted in other 4-ply wool, but do your test square first to ensure you are going to have enough yarn.

The Pattern Uses:

• 105g of 4-ply yarn (2 x 50g Main Colour & 5g of Contrast Colour) 20% Bamboo blended with, 40% of Romney and 40% of Bluefaced Leicester
• You will also need 3 Stitch Markers, Scissors, 1 Stitch Saver, 1 Rubber Band and a Wool Needle (for Finishing)
