Enjoy all summer colors in this super lightweight kerchief which is knitted with just a single one of our exclusive Lightly skeins, though it would make for a great stash busting project too.

Knitted from the bottom up, ever growing with a pretty eyelet design in the middle and more eyelets growing along the sides up to the very top which is knitted in relaxing garter stitches.

The pattern is fully written. The blocked size measures 35” in overall length and 21” in middle height.

Yarn
A single one of our Lightly skeins, wound to order with 238 yards/ 50 grams a skein, in 7 yarn changes with a single fingering weight and 6 lace weights.

Notions needed
US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle 36” (90 cm) in length.
2 Stitch markers.
Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge: 17 sts and 23 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch with beginning fingering weight yarn, blocked.

Techniques applied: Knitting and purling flat, increasing, eyelets, binding off, weaving in ends and blocking.
