DESCRIPTION
This Cardigan is part of the LIHAN DESIGN CAPSULE (#LihanSweater (Kids), #LihanDress (Kids), #LihanCardigan0-7y). It’s the junior and adult version to the baby/kids sized Lihan Cardigan 0-7y and comes in 10 sizes (~XXS-3XL).
It has a circular yoke top-down construction: you can decide if you like a plain stockinette stitch cardigan with nearly invisible increases or if you prefer a summery, eyelet increase or or a textured nupp increase. You can also choose from a range of options for the sleeves: short sleeves, or straight or shaped long sleeves. You can mix and match as you prefer. -->Junior Sizing suggestion: XXS can be for a 9-year, XS for an 11-year, S for a 13-year and SM for a 15-year old.
(If you work size XXS-S for a kids / teenie it night be that you have to adjust the body and sleeve length a bit, given length are for averaged adults)
-->Sizing is a guide only and you should pick the finished measurement size closest to the wearer’s measurements
plus 5-10 cm (2-4 inches) of positive ease. The cardigan has a relaxed fit, so if you like a more fitted style just choose a size smaller or less ease.

NEEDLES
Circular needles to obtain gauge: one larger (recommended 4,0 mm (US 6)) and one smaller (recommended 3,0 mm
(US 3)) with a length at least of 60 cm (24 inches)
Optional: double-pointed needles in both sizes (if you don’t want to work the sleeves with the magic loop method)
The i-cord edge can be worked with the circular needle.

GAUGE
20 sts x 30 rows = 10x10 cm (4x4 inches) in stockinette stitch, blocked, with larger needle size

YARN
DK weight or yarn to obtain requested gauge
Eg: Sandnes Garn Duo (DK; 55% Merino wool, 45% cotton; 124 m (136 yds) per 50g), colourway 2124 Aksgul
Or Sandnes Garn Line (worsted weight; 53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen; 110 m (120 yds) per 50g)

Amounts stated are calculated for simple increases for the yoke (YOs / M1s), for bobbles or nupps you need quite a bit more and for a dk weight yarn, held single. If you held fingering double you need souble the amount of yarn!
