Lil' Kicks
My newborn girl is very active, and is always kicking her legs around. To keep them warm in the coming fall and winter weather, I whipped up these leg warmers. You can knit them up in a matter of hours for your baby, or as a last minute gift for a baby you know.
This unisex pattern works for baby boys or girls. When changing diapers in cold weather, leg warmers are a convenient way to avoid dressing and undressing the baby each time, especially in the sleepy hours of the night.
The pattern uses between 80-100 yards of DK yarn, so it can also be a great way to use up leftover yarn. The superwash fibers in the recommended yarn make for easy cleaning that is usually essential with young ones.
